Westerfeld GmbH

The family company was founded by Gustav Westerfeld on 1 October 1945. Based in Saarbrücken (Germany), today it is led by the fourth generation. Our business zone is welding products trade and welding attachments trade with focus on weld metals of Böhler Welding which we are selling for more than 70 years.

In our warehouse we stock larger quantities of standard qualities of the thermanit program. Therefore we are able to guarantee a rapid delivery. Due to our decades-long partnership to the producer we are also able to deliver any special quality.

Gustav Westerfeld GmbH doesn´t only feel bound to internal and legal requirements. We also see voluntary commitments undertaken and ethical principals as an integral component of our business culture as well as a guideline which we bring into line with our decisions.

Furthermore Gustav Westerfeld GmbH works according to the requirement of DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, edition July 2021. We are extending our quality management system continuously. In all departments internal as well as external audits are constantly accomplished.

The quality management representative is organisational associated with the management. An interdisciniplarily staffed steering board supports him with the implementation of the quality management system. The aim is to structure a customer-oriented and employee-oriented organisation in a more comprehensive sense, which renders a services of high quality, structures responsibilities plain and transparent as well as it is constantly working on the enhancement of structural quality, process quality and the quality of results.
